Being one of the servants in the Ashford allowed you a many great things, both filled with fortune and displeasure. Dutchess Ashford, or rather lady Ashford as she prefered was certainly one of the greatest displeasures she had to face on a daily basis. That and Caldwell's surprises he left in the basement.

At the ripe age of 25, she wanted to soar her wings to new places, maybe finish school even, but Simon held her back. He trampled anyway of leaving when he confessed his infatuations and desires a mere year ago upon her arrival.

Dylan was well aware she was two years older than him, something that she constantly reminded him and herself of.
