Part 5

”Looks like that’ she said pleasantly.

Tej frowned,’Freshers at our college behave with respect towards the seniors.”

The girl opened her eyes wide and said, ”Oh! “ and after a pause, ”Why?”

His friends sputtered. No one, but absolutely NO ONE spoke to Tej in that way! He was regarded as an undisputed leader with his endless cash resources and magnificent physique. And here was a dumpy looking chit of a girl actually Questioning him?

Realising that the script was running away from him, Tej stepped down, sauntering towards the girl who stood innocently enough watching him with mild interest. He smiled a little, running his eyes over her, almost caressingly. He knew from experience that the effect was catastrophic. Generally, girls went weak in the knees.

The one in front of him was, he found out, an exception. She looked bored. Bored? He thought. And then, am I losing my touch?
