Part 4

From the readings in her journal Captain Lewis thought everything was okay and nothing Margo placed in the pages compromised any case. In Horse dale, the day was rainy and the drips from the ceiling pounded on Margo she placed a small blanket over Aviary and placed her under her desk, out of Captain Lewis sight. There was a large event downtown and needed officer coverage most 1/3 of the officers were covering the event the other percentage of officers were off doing something.

It was dark and Margo set her sights on solving the murder of Percy and Amelia. She yawned and pulled out their files. Ten minutes went by, Captain Lewis approached her and she was updating him about the cases. He did not realize Aviary was on the floor under a blanket. He began to talk and she heard the voice: “So 10 pm was the time of the murderer and the blood still has not been identified.” He said. Aviary recognized the voice and started flying around the cage, frantically; Margo wondered what was wrong and lifted the cage. Captain Lewis had a look of being exposed, when Margo lifted the blanket. Captain Lewis and Aviary made eye contact. “This is a murdering asshole”, Aviary said, as she shook and had runny poop all in the cage. Detective Hathaway remembered Big Billy saying those were the signs of a frighten bird. Margo stood up quickly and Captain Lewis hit her in the jaw with his fist knocking her out.
