Part 5

The next morning Spencer was up early setting his goal on paddle boating around the lake since the summer was heating up. When Brandon woke up around eleven. He went to the lake to tell Spencer it was breakfast time.Spencer was floating in the water. He had to call the state patrol a third time. Again the state patrol and the coronor came out. The coronor took Spencer to the lab to do a autospy. Lilac went to work looking tired. She told the ladies that she felt as though she was coming down with a summer cold for sleeping under a fan. She drank a lot of juices and soon was herself again.

The coronor's autopsy found that Spencer had been hit in the head with a hammer to make him fall into the water. He wasn't dead when he hit the water but died soon after. The state patrol got the county investigation team to reopen the other two accidental cases but had no motive for any of the three deaths. There had to be something that connected all three deaths. No connection could be found until one evening after seeing the news a caller on the tips phone line stated she had seen the car on the news at the campsite and realized that was the car they were looking for that robbed the credit union. she had been walking her dog outside in the alley and had seen a car exactly like that but remembered only a partial of the plate number because it was her brother's nnme Sam.
