Part 3

Aditi is having a shower. The soap bubbles on her body is tripling down her legs along with water and moving to their end, the sewer. Aditi loves bathing taking a long time. She completes her work within an hour after Utsav goes out for his ofiice and then enters the bathroom. She knows she won’t be disturbed for a long time until it is three in the afternoon when Malati, her maid comes in to finish the left house chores. While at shower she dreams to be a heroine taking bath in the shower like she have watched in the films. She admires herself at the mirror on the wall and feels the black spot on the right side of her neck and sighs if the mole had been below or on her chin she would have looked more beautiful. Have Utsav ever admired her beauty? She wasn’t sure. In the mirror she looks at her reflection but it’s up to the chest, she needs a full reflection. Was she putting on fat? She wondered. She needs to take a view of herself at the mirror. She wrapped herself in the towel and rushes out of the bathroom and stands before her reflection. Before she could take a look the mobile rings out with a lovely tune. Aditi surprised at who could be at this time, picks up the phone and answers “Hello” without viewing the number.
