Part 1

​ Within a week the rocket launch test failed sending the rocket into the lake close to the launch site. They retrieved the rocket but it wasn't repairable so they had to build another rocket. to reach astroid Helena. 'the crew had assembled at the Mountain Interplanetory Space Center where they could track the rocket's projectory all of the way and through their telecope they could see the mountain size astroid was dissapointed but determined to go ahead with the assignment. It took a lot of work and another rocket was ready to go in less than a month.

​ Both groups met for a second time to watch their rocket launch into outer space but had to be canceled and reschedule due to the weather. It would be another month before they could launch their rocket when the astroid was closest to the earth The third time of lauching a rocket went off without anything going wrong but when it rached the astroid and exracting theminerals samples was a success but when it backed away and started firing the explosives at the mountain size astroid
