Part 2

As president he nominated several generals for different heads of his departments. One general who had served over seas and the men under him even stated that he was a tough general but a fair one for Defense Secretary. The opposition party in congress tried to block his confirmation by walking out of the confirmation hearing. Then they filibuster his nominee and the president's party had to use the nuclear option plan Eventually he became the defense secretary.

He had his hands full but the first thing he did was to dispatch a letter to the troops and civilians working under him stating he was proud to have their backs and he felt their pain and grief when they had to leave their families and go fight over seas and he would make sure they had everything that they needed while the soldiers were gone.
