Part 2

‚Äč The sheriff had a house next to the station which made it convientent for him and his daughter and her husband lived at the lodge. The sheriff's son lived in a cabin closer to the mountain. He was a hunter / trapper and fisherman .He also was one of his father's deputies in the tourist season The whole family could be seen together frequently either at the lodge or church on Sundays. The pastor at the church they attended was a school mate of the sheriff and had resided in Snow Cap Ridge all of his life.

Everyone that had lived there for years knew each other and wouldn't have it any other way It didn't take long for them to get to know the newcomers and they never turned down a newcomer that wanted to settle into the area. The hunting crowd that came here yearly to hunt would stay at the hunting cabins on the outskirts of town and the regular tourist would stay at the Hooligan Lodge then up on the mountain was the ski lodge where the skiers stayed closer to the slopes.
