Part 2

Blair took the necklace and that evening she hung the necklace on the IV and feeding bag pole and pushed it just a tiny bit so when her mother looked in the mirror she would see it. She sat in the chair telling all of the things they were doing and all of the children in the park that still remembered the lady who gave free lunches to the children last summer. After that particular incident the police had uped their patrol in the park.

‚Äč Blair privately swore to herself Momma I'm going to catch this monster that did this to you. It was one thing to rob your business and another thing to beat you so senseless that you was left almost dead and in a vegatated state where you couldn't remember anything much less hardly speak. She missed her mother's and her nightly talks. Her mother was getting better every day and the doctors informed the family that she would never walk again but her speech and memory would come back when the swelling in her brain went down.
