Mr. Chester Underwood enjoyed both the city park and the beach and was elated to be able to buy hot both dog stands from the city. He relished the stands but his favorite was the park's hotdog stand that was an old standby for grandmothers and young mothers out enjoying the day with their children but the money maker of the two was the beach where the surfing crowd loved hanging out. He couldn't be in two places at the same time so his daughter in law took over the stand in the park close to the children's play ground so she could keep an eye out on her children and still keep the stand open for business while he attened to the surfers
