Part 3

‚Äč When it turned from Spring to summer and the weather was perfect Melody would be pushed out of the house by Blair's father or one of her older brothers to the park where she sat in the shade of a tree watching the children in the park play while Blair worked the stand. By now Melody was back to talking although a lot of times she had to search for the right words to say which sometimes it was easy and other times it wasn't. The family kept seeing her progress almost daily if not daily.

What they really relish was watching their mother's realationship with her father grow as well as theirs with grandpa Jones and of course with big boy which joined her in the park. She would sit there using his brush and would brush him daily. The police patrol on foot was accompanied by their police dogs also. You could see police officers on bikes and segways but nobody had gotten closer to finding the murderer. The police had a couple of theories but was closed mouth to the press which you could also see them strolling around the park.
