Part 6

Paul was dropped off at Altoona, PA and went into the truck stop and hitched another ride to Colunus, Ohio with another trucker. Paul reached Columbus way before his friend was scheduled to meet with him. He saw a motel fairly close to the truck stop and checked in there. He called his friend but got no answer. His cell phone didn't have good reception there. He bedded down in his motel room hoping nobody and tailed him. he figured he probably was safe but wasn't going to take any chances. He dozed off to a light sleep when he realized someone was at the door.

He took out the knife he bought at the sport shop. He was ready to throw it at whoever came through that door. when he heard familar sounds. Sugar was scratching at the door and Spice was telling him they were there. He had a cute way of communicating with Paul. It was a halfway between a bark and a whine. Paul asked him if that was them and his friend answered yes it's Sugar and Spice and they brought along their chauffeur Paul said yea prove it. Jack slid his ID under the door.
