Part 3

‚Äč He informed the head detective to investigate the owner's brother and nephew. Lindsay knew he must be on the right track. He knew one day the murderer or murderers would slip up and he would have them by their gills and solve the case before it went any colder than it was at this point. His old friend Donald Mcullim was always telling him that patience was a virture but time and patience was running out.When he got home he found his place had been broken into, nothing was taken but all of his files had been thrown all over his floor.

While gathering up the files and putting them back in order he realized the current case file was.missing. Lindsay was sure he had hit on something but what was that something. He wasn't quite sure. He always made copies and turned the orginial into the police chief to be filed at the station. The next morning he went to the station and reported the break in and got another copy of the missing file.
