Part 1

​ Lacey and Kitty had attended the same school district and had attended some of the classes during high school but had a different set of friends. Lacey's friends was financially better off and was standoffish and wouldn't even give Kitty and her friends the right time of the day. Kitty Calhoun was raised by her grandparents when her parents was killed in an accident. Her granfather loved to watch Gunsmoke reruns and just thought Miss Kitty the saloon owner was something really good so when her grandfather's health wasn't in good shape and her mother deliveredd her baby girl she named her Kitty which made her father very happy.

​ The movers placed Kitty's furniture where she aked them to first taking her bed and dresser into the bedroom and even sat her bed up for her. Then it was the kitchen table then the livingroom furniture and as on the way out when Lacey's second van arrived. Kitty was in the process of hanging up her clothes in her closet and her coats in the livingroom closet and was carrying the couple of boxes labeled Kitchen into the kitchen when she heard a knock on her side door and not her front door. She hadn't noticed two ways into her apartment from the hall so it kind of intrigued her. She saw the door was bolted from the inside and was able to unbolt it and opened the door and was face to face with Lacey. Lacey introduced herself. In between the units was a little hall that when you looked up had a door leading to the attic. Kitty asked her if she knew that the units connected like this. Lacey replied that when she looked at the apartments she opened her door and came into Kitty's apartment and was the one that told the manager that he needed to bolt that door
