Part 1

​ In Dr. Victor downing last year of life he spent more time in the hospital. then he was bedridden and hospice came into the house to take care of him. Victoria and her mother was at his bedside when he took his last breath

Victoria's mother Linda was forgetting things like where the grocery store was located. She had been forgetting how to get around town for about a year but Victoria thought it was stress due to her father's illness and her mother not coping very well with his illness.

​ Her aunt came to stay with the family so Victoria was free to continue her education to become a psychiatrist like her father.She finished her second year of medical school when her mother was diagnosed with alzheimers.
