Part 2

​ The next Monday Victoria arrived at the local clinic with her vreditials in her hand ready for work. In no time she was making a name for herself around town and with the salrty she could keep a float and avoid having to cash in the CD. Aunt Kay called her shortly after Valentines day with the news from hospice wasn't good and her mother would be dying in a few days. Victoria requested time off and spent the last few days of her mother's life at her bedside

​ Victoria's aunt would stop by the local supermarket and pick up a bouquet of flowers to be placed on Linda's bedside table. One night Linda took her last breath while she was sleeping. The family doctor came out and announced her death at being eleven ten P,M Early the next morning Victoria informed the funeral home that her mother's wishes was to be cremated just like Dr. Victor Downing had been. They wanted to be buried in their garden at home.
