"Thank you" I read her tag "Sophie"

I moved down the hall turning right checking the numbers stamped on the doors before entering 12B. The room was small, not like I expected anything grand but it was too small for me and plain in the color white, one of the reasons I hated hospitals. I wasn't exactly a customer in this white room. I was never even sick while growing up, so anytime I was dull my mum always suspected I was sick. She was too paranoid.

I walked to the bed close to the window where dad sat staring out into nature with needles punctured on his arms and wrist.

It was my fault. I frowned

"Linda is that you" He didn't turn to meet me. Linda was mum's name. Where was she anyway?
