Previously on Death's game

Dad, please no, anything else" I begged the unconscious man and begged the air. My dad wasn't breathing. You shouldn't have saved him. He smiled

"What's wrong with him mum? Answer me". I couldn't take it anymore as nurses ran in and out of the ward my dad layed in. "He was nervous about something, I know you know" I threatened and I watched guilt paint mum's face.

"Mum?" I shouted and she burst out in tears. "We didn't think it was going to end like this" she sobbed.

"What didn't you think mum?" I didn't even care if she was crying on the floor. I was fustrated with everything.

"His lungs were failing"

My knees found the floor. "When did this happen?" I was in pain and I had a feeling I knew but I didn't want to believe it.

"On your birthday" she broke down again while my chest ached. I couldn't cry, tears weren't enough. It was my fault, why did I have to live.

He was laughing, the bastard was laughing, eating off my pain.

"Get out, leave me alone" I heaved. My throat dry and hoarse from panting. I couldn't do this anymore. I was going to end their suffering. I was going to take my life. I couldn't care less if He was winning this game. He had shattered me mentally.

I ran out of the hospital bumping into a wall or was it a person. Derick.
