Part 1

The health department had one little problem with the concession stand and admission booth outside of the haunted house but it was taken care of and was good to go before the inspection team was through and got approval to operate it. One of Elvira's friends was given the job to run the concession stand Behind the haunted house was in a old corn field the owner made a maze and in the top floor of the house was a room that overlooked the maze and would be monitored while the maze was open so if anyone got lost the workers would be able to find the person or persons.lost in the maze.

The barn on the property would stable horses so if anyone wanted a hayride it would be provided by a staff member who was a rodeo worker and knew how to handle horses and knew how to properly hook up horses to a wagon.The event was taking on a life of it's own that the owner decide instead of opening up in the middle of October for just a couple of weeks that they would open early on October the 1st and last the whole month and one event in the barn on Friday and Saturday night for the adults and younger children would be square dancing and games for the real little ones. Elvira knew of a dance group that included square dancing in their routine and a couple of nursery school teachers that could help out with games for the little ones
