Part 6

Her wound was dressed, which thankfully was not a deep one. The doctors said that it looked like a wound from a sharp weapon, like a knife or sword. Dana told them that she might have hit a knife lying nearby when she fell down from the sofa during her sleep. The issue was, thought Sam, that there was no knife nearby. He had frantically searched the vicinity for any clue that might explain the wound but had not found anything. He remained silent though, mentally making a note to get the answers from her. She clearly was hiding something. The doctor recommended that she stay at the hospital for the night to get some sleep, but she insisted that she was ok and wanted to go back to her room. They had reluctantly discharged her.
