Part 3

The next day, she thought of taking a walk. Her guide had some work to attend to, so she was free for the whole day. Thinking about last night still gave her shivers. She packed a small bag for a day’s trekking, unsure of where exactly to go. After much deliberation, she decided she would not go into the village where the gang usually hanged around. Instead she walked towards the nearby forest. There was something really alluring about the forest. She had heard that the forest was relatively safe place. She rechecked if she had the safety equipment which she had packed, which comprised of a knife, climbing rope and a torch. Being inexperienced in outdoor stuff, she could think of only those.
