Part 2

‚Äč Early the net morning Mac asked for permission for Kim to look into that case over coffee with the sheriff in his office He explained that he had been having Kim to work in the office because she didn't have a partner and with this being a closed case she could do some digging like talking to the family members very discretely. He told the sheriff it shouldn't take over three days and it wouldn't hurt anyone. The couple's oldest daughter said that her grandmother had made an unusual comment one day to her aunt on her mother's side that led her to believe that her father was innocent due to something that she read in a police report that backed up her father's account of the day that she was supposed to have been killed and no body was ever found.
