Part 5

Swathi got up from the bed and with her bleary eyes looked at the image of God and prayed silently and then moved to the bath room. After completion of her natural call, she began to brush her teeth by looking at the mirror. After a few minutes, while goggling, she heard her name mentioned by her father who was exchanging his view with his wife.

With unlimited curiosity, she engrossed what they were speaking about.

“I need the immense help from Baskar to get ourselves improved in all aspects. But unfortunately, he inclined to Sivasankar. Now he is using him for his benefit. So he planned to give his daughter, Lolita in marriage to Baskar so that he will be benefitted politically. Our daughter Swathi is more beautiful and charming than Lolita. But what use? Had Baskar been our son-in-law, I would have achieved more in my field. I must invent a device to drag him to our side. If Swathi is adroit (Quick or skillful or adept in action or thought), I will accomplish anything so easily. “
