Allie sits up straight and Les' eyes narrow. "Are you okay with it?"

"I hate her, you know that."

"So, what are you going to do?"

"Whadda ya mean? There's nothing I can do… except, maybe run away."

Allie stands up. "You can't!"

"Don't have a cow, I know. You think your mom would let me move in here?"

"Probably, but your dad's not going to go for that. Maybe you'll get to like her when she lives with you."

"Yeah, and Santa Claus is real."

I don't want to talk about it anymore. "It won't be forever, I'll be rich and famous before long." I grab a brush off Allie's purple vanity, and make it a mock microphone. "I'd like to thank the Academy and all the little people who helped make my movie."

Allie stretches her hands out, shrieking, "Me next, me next." She holds the brush to her face and bows her head in a solemn pose, "I cannot express how much receiving the Nobel Peace Prize means to me. I would like to thank my entire research team for their help in finding the cure for cancer."

Leslie stands and pulls her shoulders back as she approaches Allie for the brush. She flares her nostrils. "Ahem. As the first female president of these United States, I intend to put an end to all war."

We fall on the bed laughing. "If you're gonna dream, dream big."
