I have no idea what time it is when I wake from my sex-induced coma. I can't remember ever feeling this well rested after so little sleep. Chase is wrapped around me like a drowning victim on a log. I am all for the post-coital cuddle, though once I'm ready to sleep, I want my own half of the bed, unencumbered by wandering limbs. I have now slept entangled with this man and it's exhilarating.

He's still sleeping, and although I have a strong desire to wake him to go for round four, I am also feeling a bit trampy, so decide to leave with what's left of my dignity. I carefully untangle myself. He stirs briefly, but falls back into rhythmic breathing. I stifle my urge to kiss those beautiful lips and tiptoe to the bathroom with my clothes. Thank God I always carry a toothbrush.

Carefully opening the bathroom door, I start toward the exit, only to be halted in my tracks by his husky, morning voice, "Leaving without saying goodbye?" He's leaning in the bedroom doorway, wearing a robe, looking incredibly toothsome with hair all messed up, compliments of yours truly.

"Oh, I didn't want to wake you."

"That's apparent." He has trapped me with that smoldering gaze.

Shit! I shift uncomfortably. "Um, just trying to get my walk of shame over with."

"Are you ashamed of me?"

"No Chase, the shame would be all mine."
