Part 4

Bennett knew Grace Newhart for a brief period of time; she only lived in the town for a short time. He was a short guy with gray eyes and a long nose, that’s how people remembered him. Then, there was Captain Charles Lewis, he was built and very handsome; most ladies had a sweet eye for him. Bennett and Captain Lewis never saw eye to eye. Some Thirty years back Bennett was sent off to jail. He served some time for causing an accident. The woman was killed; part of his sentence was to do volunteer work for the police department. Bennett severed ten years for that crime. He was doing some filing upstairs as Margo was talking to Lewis. Bennett and Margo were building a bond and a friendship of respect. He listen as Margo and Lewis talked, “You mean we have to wait until there is another victim captain?” said Detective Hathaway.” “Maybe, we are just at the waiting point now, detective.” Margo stood there as though she had issues with his answer, but she decides to leave the room.”
