Part 9

Chapter Nine

It was an hour before June was to host the party. She chose a deep color purple dress to wear. The mask June wore fit her face entirely, thus covering everything but her eyes and hair. Her silver gray hair gave a way to who she was.

As the party got underway, candles throughout the estate showed the many colors of the outfits worn. Guest was wearing colors that bought on a theme, while others choose to be mismatched in colors-adding dramatic flares whenever they felt like it. The clock hadn’t struck a certain hour, when Martha made unscheduled exit from the room; she forgot her purse she loved so much.
